Cork City Marathon in aid of the Bishopstown Hearing Voices Group

Angela Carrazza is running the full Cork City Marathon 1st June 2015 in aid of the Bishopstown Hearing Voices Group (Friends of GF). The raised money will be used to give the co-facilitating expert by experience (voice hearer) some financial recognition, for books, videos, group outings, and possibly guest speakers.

The Bishopstown Hearing Voices Groups was founded in January 2013 and is part of the South Lee Mental Health Services. Its main aim is to offer voice hearers a safe setting in which they can talk about their experience of hearing voices and/or having unusual beliefs to others with a similar experience. The group is part of the Irish Hearing Voices Network (www.hearingvoicesnetworkireland.ie), which will be officially launched in Trinity College Dublin 17th April.

Any sponsorship will be greatly appreciated. Sponsorship cards are available.
